Farm mechanization is the main indicator of modernizing agriculture and use farm machines that can take place human animal power in agricultural processes. During field operation weight machinery compact soil due to contact with tires or tracks tractors. The aim article study effects texture moisture content on compaction. experimental test 5 different depth (5, 10, 15, 20 25 cm) were selected for taking compaction data samples at three range (0-10, 10-20 20-30 from Kulumsa Agricultural research center land two seasons. 15 sample point taken 0.6 ha land. result shows average all maximum minimum value where 3.73 Mpa 3.032 during harvesting season 1.37 1.19 seeding respectively. laboratory clay 25.0% sand, 51% 24 % silt both percentage 28.92% 20.04% 41.8% 30.8% 30 cm 0 10
